Once upon a time, in an agency world far far away, the summer doldrums would descend as a relief-inducing cloud over the cubicles. Clients would take vacations, schedules would birth blackhole weeks, time-sheets would become creative accounting exercises, office managers would schedule Cleaning Days etc. But not any more. The past few summers have been filled with pitches, presentations, various imagined crisis(s!), and other assorted stress-inducing events. 2006, of course, is no different. Which partly explains the dearth of updates to my site here. Who says advertising business isn't exciting? What is different this year, this summer, is a closer sense of...cusp. And I'll leave it at that for now.
