A few days back I sent out a seemingly harmless little e-mail question to a few fellow bloggers: John Gruber, Robert Scoble, Leo LaPorte, Chris Pirillo, Robert X. Cringely and Charlie Owen. The e-mail asked: "Now that I can finally run Windows (via Apple's BootCamp) what I'd like to ask you is, what Windows software truly amazes you?". Then the question made its way to Macsurfer.com and Slashdot.com. Today I open up my inbox to 169+ e-mails...148+ comments on the site I threw together to host the question, and...860 replies on Slashdot (and growing).
Most fascinating to me is the global span of who is contributing answers.
